I love a movie that takes risks and I love a sci-fi adventure so there was a lot I liked here, risk-wise, and a lot of the early Lethal Entertainment scenes are perfectly creepy, but if only they could have cut out the overly dramatic, idiot-plot delaying tactics throughout the adventure, the movie could've been a tight, fun mindbender instead of a long and annoying slog.

This historical treatise has a lot of notoriety but I found it unnecessarily dense, and ultimately flawed, in that its focus on states and state power ignores a related discussion of capitalist power, such that altho there is a useful perspective to glean here about how a drive for social legibility can transform a society, I wouldn't recommend the book overall.

Creepy slow and artsy, well-acted altho some of the monologues and artistic choices tried a little too hard, overall just different  which I really appreciated, deep and heartfelt and not afraid of some discomfort.
