die hard with a vengeance (1995)

Even tho I have a soft spot for Bruce Willis' action comedy style of sardonic humor mixed with extreme violence, and even tho the third die hard movie is well paced and plotted and written (for a dumb action movie), there's something about it that just doesn't add up; the two leads have very little chemistry, maybe overall the movie just lacks heart.

Both the sci-fi elements and the scientist characters are really fun and involving in this carl sagan book adaptation - but on the other hand the love interest is really annoying and the movie should’ve been 30 minutes shorter.

the gentlemen (2019)

While this Guy Ritchie movie doesn’t live up to its forebears (in my humble opinion) in terms of snappy dialogue and humor, it was certainly funny at times, and the twists were nice and exciting, and colin farrell’s character was a classic.
