[to be read in a british accent]: While this undefineable multi-period period drama had slightly too much whimsy to truly ever know where it itself was going, one must applaud the ambition and weirdness, and Tilda Swinton is (as ever) a delight.
Both the sci-fi elements and the scientist characters are really fun and involving in this carl sagan book adaptation - but on the other hand the love interest is really annoying and the movie should’ve been 30 minutes shorter.
