Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch

Book 2 of Scott Lynch's Gentleman Bastard series is just as exciting and engaging as the last one, as long as you don't absolutely hate pirate stuff - which I sort of do, so for me it wasn't quite as engaging, but it was still a total page-turner, which is a testament to Lynch's storytelling abilities.

Both the sci-fi elements and the scientist characters are really fun and involving in this carl sagan book adaptation - but on the other hand the love interest is really annoying and the movie should’ve been 30 minutes shorter. 

the gentlemen (2019)

While this Guy Ritchie movie doesn’t live up to its forebears (in my humble opinion) in terms of snappy dialogue and humor, it was certainly funny at times, and the twists were nice and exciting, and colin farrell’s character was a classic.
