This is a heady, complex show about finance and ethics, with a lot of characters and high drama, and even though that's almost the opposite of things I usually watch, I did enjoy it quite a bit - chiefly because the writing and acting is really solid.

Both the sci-fi elements and the scientist characters are really fun and involving in this carl sagan book adaptation - but on the other hand the love interest is really annoying and the movie should’ve been 30 minutes shorter.

the gentlemen (2019)

While this Guy Ritchie movie doesn’t live up to its forebears (in my humble opinion) in terms of snappy dialogue and humor, it was certainly funny at times, and the twists were nice and exciting, and colin farrell’s character was a classic.
